Who's "ignoring the power of the state," though? That post assumes that the only possibilities are ignoring the state or taking it over, but the main point of the tradition they're trying to attack is that the state is a specific organization of power which is inherently tied to capitalism, and so anti-capitalist movements need to build a new form of collective power against the state. That position might be wrong, but it doesn't involve either ignoring the state or rejecting the exercise of power.
